Level 3 Emergency Paediatric First Aid
This one-day course consists of 6 guidance hours and is suitable for staff that have a responsibility for children and babies. Undertaking this course fulfils part of the requirements for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and will support your fully qualified team.
The course leader will create and fun learning environment. Delegates will gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to deal with many paediatric first aid situations.

- Primary survey
- CPR and use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Bleeding and wound control
- Epilepsy and seizures
- Shock and the recovery position
- Anaphylaxis and the use of auto-injectors
- Treating minor injuries
|Delegates are awarded an Ofqual National Level 3 Award, which is valid for 3 years||Up to 12 delegates, Minimum age of 16||A range of methods are used, to accommodate all types of learners. This will include practical, written and questioning.|
