Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work

An exciting and interactive 6-hour course which would align with an INSET day for staff. The course has a mixture of practical and theoretical modules to ensure participant engagement.

Topics are delivered sensitively by experienced instructors who have an insight to schools.

All delegates will leave with the most recent information on first aid topics, alongside the confidence to act promptly and appropriately in a medical emergency.

  • Roles, reporting and responsibilities
  • Basic hygiene
  • Anatomy
  • Scene and casualty assessment
  • Resuscitation and use of an AED
  • Wounds, bleeding and shock
  • Choking
  • Fractures and bandaging
  • Burns
  • Epilepsy and seizures
Delegates are awarded an Ofqual National Level 3 Award, which is valid for 3 yearsUp to 12 delegates
Minimum age of 14 Responsibility in the workplace cannot be assumed until the age of 16
A range of methods are used, to accommodate all types of learners. This will include practical, written and questioning.
