FAA Level 3 Award in Principles of safeguarding and protecting children, young people or vulnerable adults.

School staff play a pivotal role in protecting children and young people from abuse and neglect. The level of contact that the school has with the child places a great responsibility on the staff. From the nurturing of relationships so that the child feels safe to share a concern to identifying a child at risk.

By creating robust safeguarding practices the staff and school will positively affect the lives of vulnerable people. This will also ensure that staff members who report such occurrences are also protected.
